Safety instructions

Injury hazard!

• Never use the Lady Shaver when the razor head or the razor foil are damaged.
• Keep the Lady Shaver and the batteries out of the reach of children.

Risk of skin irritation!

Individuals with sensitive skin or allergies to cosmetics may experience skin irritation during shaving. First try the razor on a small part of the arm or leg before beginning with the actual shaving. In the event of reddening of the skin or an allergic reaction, you may not use the Lady Shaver.

Explosion hazard!

Never throw used batteries into the fire.

Important!

If the following safety instructions are not followed, you may damage the Lady Shaver and void your warranty:

• Insert the batteries with the correct polarity, see battery compartment.
• Remove the batteries whenever you are not using the Lady Shaver over a longer period of time.
• Replace used batteries in a timely fashion and never mix used and new batteries together.
• Do not allow any fluids to enter into the housing of the Lady Shaver.
• Never clean the Lady Shaver with cleansers or solvents.
• Never subject the Lady Shaver to high temperatures.
• Use only cold tap water for cleaning the razor heads.
• Do not disassemble the housing.
• Do not use any shaving cream.

Proper Use

The Lady Shaver is intended exclusively for removing or shortening body hairs on humans for private purposes. You may not use it for head hair, on children or animals.

Inserting the batteries

The compartment for the batteries is located on the bottom of the device.

Hold the Lady Shaver firmly in the centre of the housing with one hand.
Turn the battery cover ⑦ then pull it down and off.
Insert two AA 1.5 V batteries (polarity labels in the battery compartment) into the battery compartment.
Place the battery cap back on the Lady Shaver from below until it snaps into place.

Operation

We recommend taking a warm bath/shower before using the Lady Shaver. This preparation makes the subsequent shaving easier.

Apply shaving foam to the skin before shaving, if necessary.

Cutting hairs longer than 10mm

Use the long hair cutter before shaving.

Remove the protective cap ①.
Press the ON switch ⑤.
Press the button in the middle of the long hair cutter ON/OFF switch 4 and hold it pressed.
Push the long hair cutter ON/OFF switch upward until it stops.
Shorten the hairs with the long hair cutter to less than 10~mm
Hold the long hair cutter on the Lady Shaver parallel to the skin.
Run it against the grain of the hairs.
When finished, press the OFF switch ⑥.

Cutting hairs shorter than 10mm

Remove the protective cap ① if necessary.
Press the ON switch ⑤.
Hold the razor head of the Lady Shaver perpendicular to the skin.
Run it against the grain of the hairs.
Repeat the process until you are satisfied with the results.
Press the OFF switch ⑥.
Place the protective cap ① back on the razor blades. After shaving, you can apply a mild skin cream to the shaved areas to relieve skin irritations.

Cleaning

Only clean the housing of the Lady Shaver with a soft, dry cloth.
Press the two buttons for releasing the razor foil cap

and hold them down.

Pull the razor foil cap up and off.
Press the ON switch ⑤.
Hold the Lady Shaver horizontally.
Rinse the razor heads under cold, flowing tap water.
Press the OFF switch ⑥.
Place the razor foil cap back on the Lady Shaver.
Dry the razor foil carefully and thoroughly.
Place the protective cap ① back onto the razor head.

Disposal

Never throw the device or the batteries into normal household waste. Contact your municipal or community administration for information on how to properly dispose of the device. Deposit used batteries at a collection site.
